Hosted in Downtown Palo Alto, Inspirit AI Scholars is an artificial intelligence bootcamp for high school students to learn to program AI and build their own AI projects.
This in-person, project-based program — developed and taught by a team of alumni and graduate students from Stanford — provides guidance on initiating AI projects, pursuing AI ventures, and preparing for college.

What do self-driving cars, Alexa, automatic cancer diagnosis, and Face ID have in common? They are driven by modern advances in Artificial Intelligence. AI is poised to transform our economy, homes, cities, healthcare, transportation, agriculture, education, and more. In the second half of the Inspirit AI program, high school students will work in small groups to implement a mentor-led socially impactful AI project.

Industry Experience: Applying engineering to tackle socio-environmental challenges like renewable energy and community-led sustainable agriculture. She has been working as a hardware engineer this past year, designing and testing hardware-software systems for both solar and consumer electronics applications.

Tyler Bonnen
Education: Columbia University, Bachelor's in Chemistry and Comparative Literature
Research Experience: Completed research fellowships in the Max-Planck Institute in Leipzig and the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. Uses biologically plausible computational models, neural data, and animal behavior to formalize the relationship between perception and memory.
