AI Scholars Program in Silicon Valley

AI Scholars in Silicon Valley is a 30-hour, in-person artificial intelligence bootcamp that exposes high school students to fundamental AI concepts and guides them to build a socially impactful AI project.

Taught by our team of graduate students from Stanford, MIT, and more, students receive a personalized learning experience in small groups.

What to Expect

AI for Social Good Project

Students develop fundamental AI skills and apply them to a mentor-led group project that they later present during a final showcase. Students gain access to an online portal for continuous learning after the program.

AI Careers and Ventures

Students learn from industry and academic speakers about AI’s impact in domains such as healthcare, transportation, and chat applications. Students receive guidance on pursuing various careers that involve AI.

Pre-College Preparation

Students attend workshops aimed to prepare them for leading CS and AI programs internationally. Students gain inspiration from successful Stanford and MIT admissions essays and learning how to communicate their project experiences effectively.

Additional Program Features

Students attending the full-day (9am-4pm) program will enjoy gourmet lunches with Inspirit faculty each day.

Students will have the opportunity to ride in a Waymo autonomous cab (subject to availability).

All students will receive a copy of Dr. Fei-Fei Li’s book, The Worlds I See: Curiosity, Exploration, and Discovery at the Dawn of AI.

Students will get to take an AI-focused tour of the Stanford University campus led by a Stanford AI graduate student.

Program Structure

The program typically runs as a 10-session experiential bootcamp that exposes students to fundamental concepts, applications of AI and guides them to work on a hands-on project in a domain of their choice.

Pre-Program Materials

Students will receive preparation materials in advance to help them get the most out of the camp once they begin. This will include a Python and AI basics video series, and other readings.
